Describe your style in 3 words. Do you have a style icon?

Classic, comfortable, professional. I don't have a style icon. It's more about being myself.

 

How did you discover Neville Wisdom?

I heard about him from friends inside and outside of Yale University.

 

Why Neville Wisdom?

Neville's clothes are comfortable, not restricting, and beautiful. They are one-of-a-kind. I can wear it to work, and then wear it to go out, and it will still be special.

 

What is your favorite Neville Wisdom piece?

The David in Green Silk Dupioni.

 

Describe your lifestyle in 3 words. Where do you spend most of your time?

Merry-Go-Round. On-the-go. Between working full time and being the mother of two teenage children, I’m always on the go! I would say it’s a 50-50 split between work and family.

 

What do you do? What do you love most about your job?

I’m the Director of the President’s House and Events in the Office of the President at Yale University. I've had amazing, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that I'd never have experienced if not for this job. I've met four out of five living U.S. Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, foreign prime ministers, academic leaders, and people from the entertainment industry. It's never the same thing twice and I get to work with an amazing bunch of people.

 

​You talked a little bit about how you split 50-50 between work and home. What is the most challenging thing about your lifestyle and is there something special you do to find your peace of mind and stay grounded?

The most challenging thing about my lifestyle is to try to find the right balance between work and family. Sometimes I wish there were 25 hours in a day! A good Pilates class can always center me. But my daughter and my son keep me grounded, every day.

 

What advice would you give to women who haven't taken a trip to Neville Wisdom?

Go! Neville has something for everyone. You'll find clothing that's made with pride, right here in New Haven! You'll feel special, beautiful and, well, like a princess! When I find something good, I like to share the information. I've recommended Neville to my friends.
